Theresa Egan - Theresa was a recipient of the Psychology Statistics and Research Methods Award in 2007. She has conducted research projects with both Drs. Kenn Barron and Sherry Serdikoff. She co-authored a chapter for publication with Dr. Barron, and co-presented her research with Dr. Serdikoff. She is currently serving as a teaching assistant for Dr. Serdikoff. She has been a volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club of Harrisonburg. She is a member of Psi Chi and the Psychology Club and was recently elected to serve as President of the JMU Chapter of Psi Chi next year. She also was a member of Psychology Learning Community. Theresa plans to attend graduate school and is considering clinical psychology as a profession.

Jason Kopp - Jason is a student in the Behavior Analysis Concentration who has worked on research projects examining (a) delay discounting with Dr. Bryan Saville, (b) saccharin preference and (c) resistance to change in an animal model of ADHD with Dr. Sherry Serdikoff and, (d) student entitlement with Dr. Tracy Zinn. During the last couple of years Jason has attended four professional conferences and presented data from the various research projects he’s been involved in at three of the four. He is a student member of 5 professional organizations as well as a member of Psi Chi and he was recently elected to serve as treasurer of the JMU Psi Chapter next year. Jason plans to pursue graduate training in the behavioral sciences and a career in academics.

Loretta Vitt - Loretta has conducted research with Dr. Zewe Serpell on culturally specific treatment plans for African American children with ADHD. She will co-present this research at Eastern Psychological Association this March. She is a member of Psi Chi and was a member of the Psychology Learning Community. She is particularly interested in cultural and social psychology, and plans to attend graduate schools to pursue a Ph.D. in Social Psychology. Loretta will complete an honors thesis with Dr. Arnie Kahn on discrimination against women political candidates.
