Maria Gandolfo - Maria has worked with Dr. Kenn Barron on motivational research and is a member of Dr. Arnie Kahn’s sexual assault research team. She will be presenting research on sex of assailant and sex of victim on victim blame this spring at Southeastern Psychological Association, and will be conducting her Honors thesis on women’s fear of rape with Dr. Kahn. Maria is President of CARE, the student-run sexual assault hotline, the Co-Head of the Take Back the Night Coalition , and a founding member of the eta rho chapter for Kappa Alpha Theta. She was a member of the Psychology Learning Community, and is a member of Psi Chi, and a First-Year Orientation Guide. Maria is also a recipient of the 2008 Women of Distinction Award.
